Kuddos Korner: McDelivery Day Campaign Awarded Golden Trumpet Award

On June 6, Christina Gales, in partnership with client Porter Novelli, was recognized with Publicity Club of Chicago's Golden Trumpet Award for her work and leadership of the 2018 Global McDelivery Day campaign for McDonald's of Chicago.
The Golden Trumpet Award program is the most prestigious awards program in the Midwest and honors distinguished achievement in public relations, marketing and communications.
The campaign, the only Golden Trumpet winner for external communications, was designed to generate awareness for McDelivery -- a partnership between McDonald's and UberEats that makes it easy for customers to have their McDonald's favorites delivered to their home, office or any place they like to be. The program helped drive significant traditional and social media buzz as well as a 20-point increase in customer awareness for the service.
Christina leads the McDonald's business as an independent consultant retained by the global public relations firm, Porter Novelli. Porter Novelli has been a client since 2017.
